WK 10: Product

My product for Caribe a la Carte is not only the food that is served, but also the personality and the lifestyle that this mobile truck promotes. Implementing an inseparable strategy between the provider and the customers, “In services marketing, the service provider is the product. Service inseparability means that services cannot be separated from their providers, whether the providers are people or machines. If a service employee provides the service, then the employee becomes a part of the service. Because the customer is also present as the service is produced, provider–customer interaction is a special feature of services marketing. Both the provider and the customer affect the service outcome.” My goal for this business is that my customers know that there is only one place in Las Vegas to experience this lifestyle. Product presentation and deliverable is important too, serving the food in recyclable brown cardboard containers complement the appearance that the truck has and it is good for the environment. The recyclable trays are cost effective, easy to store, and durable to hold the contents that they contain for my customers. The employees need to know how to prep the food and cook it as well, so training needs to be implemented with new employees. Even though the food is perishable, the customer needs to be satisfied with my product. The importance to serve the food with the proper presentation and desired taste is paramount to the survival of my food truck. Greater service value will lead to satisfied and loyal customers.
